Preventing Back & Neck Pain

Good lifting technique: spread your feet shoulder width apart and bend your knees to lift
Good posture: tall through chest, relax your shoulders and tuck your chin in
Sitting: don’t stay sitting for prolonged periods of time
Exercise: general exercise for 30minutes for five to seven days a week
Back support while driving: placing a rolled towel behind your lower back for support
Sleeping: a comfortable pillow and matress will help prevent waking up with pain
Muscle stretching: stretching muscles is important to prevent tight and sore muscles pulling on joints
