Kent Elliot


Kent graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Science (majoring in Human Movement Studies) and from Podiatry at QUT. During this time Kent took special interest in exercise and conditioning training. Kent has a personal interest in, and has participated in many sports including rugby, athletics, tennis and jogging. Kent has been with the Active Care Physiotherapy team at Capalaba since 2003.

The Active Care Podiatry team specializes in custom soft orthotics, heel pain and running injuries. If you are seeking a routine treatment, replacement orthotics or just general footwear advice, Active Care Podiatry has the treatment for you.

Jackson Cooke


Jackson graduated from QUT with a Bachelor of Podiatry. He has competed in volleyball and basketball, and has a special interest in injury rehabilitation and prevention. Jackson spent many years working for The Athletes Foot and as a result is a self-described shoe nerd who can help you with all things footwear.

Georgia Spry

Dietitian and Nutritionist

Georgia is an Accredited Practising Dietitian who graduated from Bond University with a Master of Nutrition and Dietetic Practice. She loves anything food (and coffee!) and is a big believer in balance, so you can still include all the foods you love while kicking your nutrition goals!

Georgia works with a variety of different people and conditions, however, has a special interest area in women’s health and can help with PCOS, menopause, gestational diabetes, endometriosis, and weight management. She loves working with women to help overcome their challenges, inspire them to love their bodies and have a positive relationship with food.

Georgia aims to ensure you have an individualised experience; works with you to empower you to take control of your health and nutrition in a way that is real and sustainable!

Cath Gibbs

Remedial Massage Therapy

Cath obtained her Diploma of Remedial Massage through Elite Physiotherapy and Massage Academy in Brisbane. She has worked with a broad range of clients from NRL & AFL players, athletes from local clubs & schools; to members of the general public. One recent highlight for Cath was being part of the massage team at the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast.

At Active Care Physiotherapy she works with clients experiencing lower back pain, neck pain, headaches or migraines, muscle tightness & stiffness, sports injuries or stress. Cath’s main approach to treatment is through Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release and Trigger Point therapy. Cath is also qualified to provide Dry Needling and Chinese cupping. Her key objectives are to significantly improve or eradicate client’s symptoms by tailoring her extensive range of massage techniques to address each individual’s specific issues.

Ross Mollenhauer

Remedial Massage Therapy

Ross has been a full-time Remedial Massage Therapist since 2013. He has extensive experience working on NRL players, professional Golfers, Swimmers and in the field of Archery. Ross works with people of all ages in the general public and does his best to make you feel comfortable and relaxed.

Ross uses a mix of Deep Tissue, Trigger points, cross fibre massage and Remedial Massage & Sports Massage techniques to help clients re-gain that feeling of freedom to move with less pain & increased range of movement.

Ross is 100% committed to ensuring clients receive the best outcome possible & loves seeing improvement for clients with regular massage makes his day. His interests include bike riding, sports & hiking. Ross loves meeting new people and would love to see you at the clinic.

Chantelle West

Remedial Massage Therapy

Chantelle obtained her Remedial Massage diploma from the industry-leading, Q Academy Brisbane, and is excited to continue treating a broad range of clients. With over 16 years experience of dancing, Chantelle is passionate about the human body, and its movement. She looks to help others maximise their movement potential and assist in the easement of physical ailments through remedial massage.

Xray/MRI/Ultrasound Referrals

At Active Care Physiotherapy, our practitioners can refer you for BULK BILLED X-rays as part of your care. We are also able to refer you for MRI and ultrasound scans to determine the cause or extent of your pain/injury. Unfortunately these scans do come at a cost but it does eliminate the need to see a GP which can be quite time consuming when a speedy recovery is needed.
